Measure under your arms at the fullest part of your bust.Keep the tape level.
Waist
Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape comfortably loose. This is the narrowest part of the body between the ribs and the hips
Hip
Stand with your feet together and measure around the full part of your hips
Length
Measure from the highest point of your shoulder

This purple is incredible!
I sized down from my usual size 20 to an 18 as per busy measurements but due to hip measurements (not given by NLB) could’ve stayed at the 20. However: it still fits well/ just a fitter dress than the empire style.
Length is great too being 6”1

I’m loving all the new renditions on the famous Empire dress that we’re seeing this year. I have an Empire but I find there is too much fabric in it for everyday wear. This is nipped in just enough to provide more shape and with the beautiful flutter sleeve is a lovely casual style. Print is so stunning in real life too.
