NLB colourful Christmas Party

As the year draws close to an end and Christmas is fast approaching, we celebrated the year that was 2021 with the NLB team. In true NLB style we celebrated with a festive poolside soiree. Dress code: '70s poolside glamour!

The festivities were a surprise for the staff which always makes it extra exciting, with co-founders Rose and Ness putting it all together themselves!

We headed to the secret hinterland location and were blown away on arrival. Hillside at Carool is a luxury vineyard accomodation with ocean views, an enormous pool, country charm with its brick chimney and a mustard pool table! Let's just say we felt right at home!

We started the day sipping cocktails (and mocktails) poolside when two special guests arrived. We were treated to a personal tarot reading by Georgia Louise, providing us all with insights for the next 6 months. And a much needed massage by Em Edgecombe.

Feeling calm and indulged the surprises didn't stop there! We were then treated to a paint and sip session by Little White Studio where we got to channel our inner Frida Kahlo and become an artist for the afternoon. We loved seeing the end result of each abstract painting. Let's just say we are surrounded by some very talented women!

The evening was now upon us and we watched the cotton candy sunset sky and prepared for a candle lit Christmas feast cooked by Dennis Duncanson. The menu was mouth watering with all our Chrissy favourites and we spent the evening laughing, sharing stories with our bellies full.
